Position Summary

As Business Development Executive – QLD, your primary focus will be on identifying and acquiring new business opportunities for Propic within the QLD region. This is a pure sales hunter role responsible for driving top-of-funnel growth. Once a client is secured, they are transitioned to the Customer Experience (CX) team for onboarding and account management. You will consistently seek out new prospects, build relationships with key decision-makers, and drive revenue growth through proactive selling strategies.

Key Responsibilities

1. New Business Acquisition

  • Identify, engage, and convert new business opportunities within QLD.

  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified leads.

  • Lead end-to-end sales processes including prospecting, qualifying, pitching, negotiating, and closing.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to optimise lead generation and conversion strategies.

2. Market Development & Lead Generation

  • Research and analyse local market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.

  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities to build brand presence and develop leads.

  • Develop tailored outreach strategies to engage prospective clients.

3. Sales Execution & Handover

  • Consistently meet or exceed individual sales targets and KPIs.

  • Ensure a seamless client handover to the CX team following successful deal closure.

  • Accurately document sales activity, deal progress, and handover details using CRM systems.

4. Reporting & Pipeline Management

  • Maintain up-to-date sales pipeline and reporting through CRM and sales tools.

  • Provide regular performance updates and sales forecasts to senior leadership.

  • Use analytics and feedback to refine outreach and sales tactics.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achievement of monthly and quarterly new business revenue targets.

  • Volume and quality of leads generated and progressed.

  • Conversion rates from lead to deal.

  • Timeliness and accuracy of client handovers to the CX team.

  • Market presence and engagement within the QLD region.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2–4 years of sales experience in SaaS, Proptech, real estate services, or related industries.

  • Demonstrated success in achieving new business sales targets.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • A self-starter mindset with a passion for hunting new opportunities.

  • Experience using CRM tools and pipeline management systems.

  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and goal-driven environment.
